Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably within the real estate industry. They should be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess excellent organizational skills. The Accountant will manage financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Could you assist with internal and external audits as needed?
• Provide financial analysis and support to management as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and procedures.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
