Human Resources Business Partner Required in Dubai
Role Purpose:
The Human Capital Business Partner is responsible for overseeing the Human Capital functions such as recruitment, career development, employee relations, employment law, compliance, disciplinary and grievance issues for all employees within Hypermarkets and Supermarkets in the assigned District. The role holder is also responsible for maintaining consistency of policies across all assigned Business Unites (BUs). He / She will support the Human Capital General Manager – UAE with expert advice
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Communication and Coordination
Advise and assist BUs management and staff for all matters relating to Human Capital processes to ensure strict compliance
Maintain close links between local business units and support function management and staff with the appropriate central Human Capital function to ensure consistency of the application and implementation of corporate Human Capital programs, policies and procedures
Participate, advise & follow up on HC actions items raised during internal meetings, workshops or individual requests from Department Heads / GM HC or Country HC teams.
Staffing and Personnel
Source required Internally through consultation with Talent Management Team, and externally in coordination with Talent Acquisition Team through recruitment databases or campaigns
Participate as a member of recruitment panel to evaluate candidates, whenever necessary
Oversee Human Capital activities related to personnel (e.g. certificates, staff attendance and absences, passports, medical insurance, vacations) and ensure correct documentation
Provide the appropriate documents to the concerned party upon request
Ensure staff accommodations are well maintained, secured and local rules and regulations are followed as per company commitment.
Attend to grievances of MAF Retail’s employees in all BUs at the assigned District.
Conduct site visits to BUs to ensure staff attendance and compliance to company’s dress code
Reporting
Review weekly personnel reports from department heads
Provide a variety of Human Capital reports upon request by relevant Head Office
Human Capital Responsibilities
Ensure the implementation of the performance management process
Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
To be a part of the training needs analysis and coordinate L&D department to ensure facilitation of training requirements
Oversee the development and implementation of on the job-training
Ensure constant availability of the required competent staff to support the organization in meeting all its responsibilities, plans, and objectives
Provide inputs while developing MAF Retail’s corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation
Following up on internal/external audit findings and ensure that all non-compliance issues are closed within the required time.
Financial Responsibilities
Monitor allocated budget to ensure compliance and take corrective measures when necessary
Provide inputs on the development of annual budget
Review financial reports for accuracy and consistency
Develop necessary measures towards continuous reduction of the operational cost
Forecast manpower needs and costs within the district and within the overall budget constraints ensuring that needed resources are available and utilized efficient.

Personal Characteristics and Required Background:
Minimum Qualifications/education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or HR
Professional HR Certification such as CIPR, SHRM, AHARI is preferred
Minimum experience
7+ years in HC Administration
3+ years of experience in retail
E-Commerce experience is a plus
