Network Engineer Mashreq bank
Manage and administer Bank's network and meeting agreed SLAs and service uptime. The role also required functioning in the IT infrastructure related projects and timely execution of the tasks with desired outputs.

Key Result Areas

Administration and maintenance of Cisco Data platform and assuring high level of service availability.
Managing network service incidents efficiently and assuring high system uptime.
Implementing proactive measures to identify potential issues in the data networking platform and fixing the exceptions as and when required.
Working with the Vendors and suppliers that provide staff outsourcing, network equipment, hardware support, software, leased carrier services.
Investigate, recommend and install enhancements that optimize network availability & performance.
Assisting with the enhancement of the network in accordance with the ICT strategic plan, in alignment with the business objectives of the organization.
Assisting with the development of billing analysis/trending and tracking control measures within the telephony/leased carrier services area.
Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.



Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to communicate, technical, and non-technical staff (first language fluency in English is essential to successfully perform in this role).
At least 3 to 5 years overall IT industry experience, with minimum two years' experience in network operations.
Advance level skills in Cisco data networking with CCNP/CCDP certification.
Ability to understand and work in the multicultural environment.
An excellent understanding of team dynamics.
Experience with corporate processes (HR, procurement, security, administration).
Ability to understand complex IT technical systems and processes.
Project management ability or experience.
